BrakeSafe is a supplemental braking system for coaches with air brakes. Simple to use and install, BrakeSafe
reduces braking distances by an average of 33 percent, a measure of assurance you can't afford to be without.
The BrakeSafe system makes use of an actuator installed on the brake pedal arm in your towed vehicle. The
actuator is designed to stay permanently attached to the brake pedal arm. Assures proportional braking.
How it works.
For air systems only, BrakeSafe uses air pressure from your RV·s brakes to affect a smooth, quick stop, always
assuring the proper braking ratio. The optional Brakelock breakaway system (BX88141) releases air to the brake
actuator to lock brakes if a breakaway occurs.
